Imagine being a white male cop and thinking about how you keep getting called into black neighborhoods. Why risk having to get shot first or become the next whoever that guy is who's on trial for the "murder" of george Fentanyl floyd.

Sounds lose-lose until either the cops can refuse to police certain neighborhoods (it's not like the liberals want them there anyways) or the leftist prosecutors (often elected partisans) have their cases thrown out when it came be shown their just grinding a political axe rather than requesting impartial justice.

Cops don't need guns to write a traffic ticket.

Cops don't even need to pull anyone over for a traffic violation. Just upload a video or picture of the infraction to their database and mail the ticket to their address.

While I agree to some degree there are huge flaws in your logic. First off there are instances where cops do need guns and it is completely illogical to disarm them because there are some other instances where they don't need guns. Secondly, traffic stops often escalate to violence when the person they stopped is black(a joke, but still kinda true). Traffic stops are by far the most likely interaction anyone is to have with a cop. Therefore it may seem like it's the traffic stop that leads to violent encounters, however, that is a huge misconception. If not for these interactions reducing criminals on the streets those same criminals would be out hurting people and there would be almost no way to ever catch them. It just is not possible for police to teleport to the scene of a crime. The vast majority of crimes don't even get reported.

The biggest problem with traffic stops is not cops shooting people. That only ever happens in response to a real threat. The biggest problem is that police departments use traffic stops as a revenue source. They are constantly writing frivolous tickets to generate revenue. The solution is to take away the monetary incentive for this by not having ticket revenue go to the police department. Especially in small towns where they basically set up speed traps and red light traps.

I think that is something most reasonable people can agree on. Let's start by smashing red light cameras and speed cameras. Then let's set up a lobby to remove police power to extort money.

Secondly, you discuss traffic stops, but my position is that traffic stops are unnecessary in most cases. There is no need to pull someone over for running a red light, speeding, etc.

In other WHITE countries cops do fine without guns. America is no longer a white country. And the countries that did disarm their populace and police are quickly beginning to regret that decision.

If you don't think people should be stopped for running red lights you are frankly have no clue what you are talking about. You have obviously never tried driving in a country that doesn't enforce traffic laws. It's a mess and people literally die horrible deaths because of it. Imagine being terrified at every single intersection because at any moment you can get t-boned and killed. It's like you are a kid and have absolutely no ability to foresee the consequences of actions. There is a reason traffic laws exist. Not enforcing laws is the same as repealing them.

But it's not really about traffic stops is it? You have been brianwashed to believe that black people are being abused by cops. That just isn't true. These criminals are getting shot trying to fight cops and then play the race card. The media is lying to you about what happens to manipulate you. Stop getting all your news from mainstream media and actually look into who these people are that get shot. Look into what they were doing when they get shot. Ask yourself if you know a single white person with a criminal record like that. Ask yourself if you have ever tired to fight a cop like that. What they are doing is not OK.

It's not traffic stops that need to be stopped. It's black crime that needs to stop. What is your solution for that?
