I have statistical proof it isnt the flu. Total deaths in the US increased from 2.8 million in 2019 to 3.4 million in 2020. The increase is even higher if you look at the last 12 months. That increase roughly matches Covid deaths listed by the CDC. If COVID is really Influenza A or B then one of those viruses just got about 50x worse. It doesnt matter if you believe this is really influenza. The point is, its a new strain of virus that is killing half a million people instead of 10 or 15 thousand which is how many people the virus really kills.

Every flu season 90% of the country has virtually no flu. Flu only hits small regions every few years and each year only one or two regions are hit.

People’s behaviors changed in the last year, reducing the R0 of flu to drop enough that it never gained a foothold in any particular region. Its not really that unusual when you consider that flu really does not hit any particular region for years at a time.

Its ridiculous to compare mask mandate effects on covid cases from state to state. Why would anyone compare South Dakota to a place like Rhode Island?

Im tired of the statistical flim flam. Both sides are doing this. Its pure evil to abuse math in this way.
