If your community's right to vote, or free speech, or breathing were being 'restricted' to 15% because it makes people feel good about last year's flu x3 ... would you be okay with that?

This is pure totalitarianism and you're treating it like a toll road.

It might be totalitarianism as you say, but a whole lot more people are dying of this thing than typically die of the flu.

Fair enough. I added "x3" because that is the difference in kill rate. So imagine 3 year's worth of flu seasons in 1 year and there ya go.
