The (largely fictional) narrative called "the Holocaust" didn't really get ingrained into public consciousness until the 1960s or 70s after decades of Jewish media promoting the idea. Basically no major politicians before that time referenced the internment of Jews in Germany as the mythical "holocaust" - complete with gassings, lampshades, human soap and masturbation brain-bashing machines before then
