the people holding the large mic would have to be fully in the frame of the first shot

Why?

because the excuse is that the large mic is so big it gets underneath biden's hand later on. (the phrase is something like "it is behind his hand and you see biden's hand react as he bumps it) Now, that excuse requires the mic to be much bigger than it is in reality (3 or 4 times bigger), and requires it to be in a certain position, based on the angle of the mic. This means the person holding it then ahs to be 30% into the frame of the first shot, from the left. Just model it, its not hard.

If you take away the requirement of the mic to be close to Biden at any stage, then it returns to being a normal mic, and the person holding it can be comfortably out of frame, as the mic is now no longer 3 feet forward of its actual position.

The person isn't there, because the mic isn't that big, and it isn't ever behind biden's (or whatever actor was deepfaked to be biden's) hand.

I'm good with 3D, but if you doubt, build the thing in blender and have a look.
