Homeschooled seems like the rational choice to me.

It would, but most households require two incomes to stay afloat, so the economic incentive is to keep sending your kids to government school.

However, the more people do choose to homeschool, the more the states, under pressure from NEA/AFT, push back against it.

Provided that it's not already forbidden in your country.

There's a few problems: lack of socialization, no longer having school as a babysitter, the child never leaving "school" (school work every waking hour for parents who go overboard teaching), and of course that parents aren't necessarily any good at being educators.

They come home with whackadoodle far left ideologies from their teachers and you just have to work them through it to find a more moderate, adult position.

I was essentially unschooled after fourth grade. I'm not advising anyone do that, but once I could read and write and had access to the internet, I don't think school does much of value besides socialization. In fact a lot of people are miserable and bullied at school. I didn't have any problems with college besides drinking too much and burning myself out at work and thus failing, but it had nothing to do with not being educated enough for it.

It's a crime now to not pretend to not be sane.

"Contempt" is the perfectly logical response to that "Court".

Let me guess: his ex-wife married the government after their divorce, so the daughter lost any respect for her biological father. At least she is taking herself out of the gene pool. The father is a tragic hero, sacrificing himself to save people who wouldnt even lift a finger to save themselves.

A true socialist Utopia, everything going great, really we should ALL be taking notes from Canada here. Business as usual, continue smashing that patriarchy. Girl Power so strong they prescribe their 14 year olds steroids.

Sad times. I wonder if I will live long enough to see the judgment of history.

The blackpill: you won't. Revolutions don't actually happen. What you've been led to think of as a revolution is really just powerful people marshalling masses to help knock over another powerful person's applecart. That's unlikely to happen under transnational neoliberal progressivism.

A perfect stillness, like a perfect chaos, can be destroyed with the slightest of action. The more stagnation or chaos there is, the less power you need to knock over that cart. While it's true that people can't combine themselves into one thinking entity, it is possible to reach a point where literally anyone can take power.

Thank you. I'll take that as a message of hope.

Hoogland openly opposed his child undergoing so-called “gender affirmative” medical procedures, stating his view that he wished to protect his child from undergoing irreversible harm. However, the Canadian medical system, legal system, and the child’s mother all agreed to press ahead with both social and medical transitioning of the 14-year-old.

Careful who you decide to marry guys. Your ex-wives hatred for you will be so unrelenting that she will find new ways of directing it upon your children in ways that don't draw attention from law enforcement.
