    Trump really missed out on "Trump 2020" and "MAGA" masks. If he had jumped onboard with "Wearing a mask is your patriotic duty to protect your fellow Americans", we'd have been over this in May or June of last year.

    nah he'd have lost even worse if he did that. His supporters hate the masks. Unlike liberals they're not sheep and won't support uncomfortable masks just because of trump. Trump was already hemorrhaging supporters because of his betrayals after taking office. Not building the wall and not repealing obamacare. Which is why he lost to Biden, a terrible candidate, any dem would have won. But supporting masks would have made it even worse and also cost other repubs elections downticket.

      WTF is the problem with wearing a mask?

      If you wear a mask and aren't sick, dealing with dust or debris, working with chemicals or suffering from a fatal lung disease, you're a controlled tool, incapable of making an intelligent decision based on logic and medical science. You're easily manipulated and told what to do, and you willingly sacrifice not only your own integrity, but your comfort, health and personal freedom to appease your masters when you wear one.

      Nobody keeps you from wearing a mask.

      The problem isnt you wearing a mask but that you feel entitled to force your cultish nuttery on everybody else.

        Every kind of government coercion needs extremely solid evidence that the measures work to begin with and that the costs are very small compared to the benefits. For mask wearing there is already plenty of evidence that they DONT achieve any significant benefit. All it does is drive people deeper into the collective hysteria and block the bridge back to sanity by reminding people 24/7.

        This is a power game. It's the power of the mob of followers of the media church against the free individual. Hence it's a new form of fascism or socialism. And it will develop and end quite similarly. The parallels to 1930 - 1945 are frightening.

          Another oppressive, but accepted reality is racism.

          Sure, the biggest existential threat to humanity is racism? If not, then figure out what is and focus on that instead of chasing shadows.

          Masking is a scientific matter of taking steps to avoid a known disease.

          Non n95 masks don't work, this has been documented for decades. Therefore, the masks are being pushed for ulterior reasons...and it's not for the good of all.

            Plenty of scientific studies make the case that masks are mostly irrelevant. There is nothing about this issue that is based on science. It is purely an issue of cultural assimilation and political tribalism.

              Well.... "directives" are a fairly direct method of manipulating or telling people what to do... not sure I understand the question.

              Also... don't understand the second question. How do you mean I've decided to use my energy? I mean... clearly I disagree with it and will gripe about it when the subject comes up.. is that what you mean by "use my energy"?

                There are a long string of assumptions you're making there that I would not. Not sure how we got from masks to Putin and a hot tub.

                But if you are really curious rather than being dismissive, then you should check out https://www.corbettreport.com/corbett-report-documentaries/ .. You are asking a relatively simple question with many long answers that require a better understanding of history. This links is a good place to start.

                I assume we can agree that colonialism and aristocracy once was a major force a hundred or fewer years ago? If so, then lets consider the possibility that groups of people who thrived at the top of that system didn't just walk away, but maybe they just started calling what they did by different names and continued moving their agendas in the same direction.

                It would be kind of like telling you that all matter is made up of tiny "particles" and charges that you can't see and expecting you to not doubt me without you having some basic understanding of the concepts being referred to first.

                  We have global evidence this is real

                  The evidence for 'most' of the effects (beyond just being the flu) being faked or lied about are overwhelming. You'd have to be deliberately blinding yourself or avoiding uncensored news to believe in the hoax.

                  Have talked to a couple other maskers, and it's like talking to a robot who just repeats the programming. I'm not in the business of educating or convincing people, so I guess you're stuck with your false beliefs. Cheers.
