Mass Killing #9 so Far This Year.

A family of four died Thursday afternoon in Fayette County, Tennessee, in an apparent murder-suicide, officials said.

Though the investigation is in early stages, evidence indicates that one family member killed the other three family members in the home and then died by suicide, according to the Fayette County Sheriff's Office.

The deaths occurred in a residence on Hutton Drive. There was not a history of violence or other law enforcement-related calls to the address, according to the sheriff's office.

The department is not yet sharing details, including names or ages, about the victims. The bodies have been sent to the Shelby County Medical Examiner's Office for autopsy.

I have no interest in mass shootings. I have no interest in mass-killings-by-gun. I am interested in mass killings. This was not one of those.

But it is interesting Dad can kill his family and it only makes the local news. "Mainstream media remains silent" indeed.
