      i thought ameliamay was doing a really nice job here.

      but now look at this shithole, it has fallen apart in two hours.

      i guess that i will just go back to reddit.

        you should really be more pleasant to amelia may.. if i were in ameliamay's position, i would do a couple of things..

        1) i would put you into immediate quarantine for seven days.. (read only access)

        2) i would put all accounts into read only status, and then slowly bring people out of quarantine.

        i would completely redesign the site.

          i hate to say it, but you dont have a clue.

          i have an entirely different view of things, and i am really not sure that i would want to step in now and try to rescue a sinking ship.

          i could, of course i could, but i just dont know if i want to.

          basically specialsauces is of the mentality that you're not allowed to question authority, so no conversation that is damaging to egos if it's of someone that's in a position of power. gross. this place is pretty sad right now.

          the one issue that would make a forum like this run like greased butter is if:

          the only person that could "ban" someone is the OP of a thread.

          if I start a thread/conversation, and i find you to be disruptive, i should be able to remove you from that conversation.

          now, you should also have the ability to start a thread of the same topic and then if you want to ban me you can.

          there should be no moderators that oversee the entire site or subs.

          the dude posted a dick pic on front page, it's against the rules but you're defending him. i'm not coming here if there are dick pics on the front page, end of story. anyone questioning the lack of moderation is not the enemy here.
