Even worse, they're disenfranchising protesters. A felony in Tennessee means you can't vote any more.

Restricting people's right to vote, is also a crime.

perhaps what this will result in is laws that make it a felony to be homeless, maybe this is their intent all along.

do you know that in tampa and clearwater and saint petersburg florida it is for all practical purposes a crime to be homeless. When the homeless go sleep at night, the police better not see you when or whereever you sleep at night, because you will go to jail. also, in those cities, you can not just sit at a bus stop and talk with a friend(as i have done many times).. if a couple of buses go by and you dont get on the bus, you will be met with force and you might go to jail.

can you imagine it being a felony crime to be homeless? this will drive the homeless up into the mountains, perhaps, with no guns, lol.. and then the homeless will get eaten by bears maybe.

Yay America! But, in TX a lot of homeless carry guns. Especially in Houston and Dallas. Dangerous as hell in their communities.

There's no way that can be constitutional.

Please which constitution is it violating. And which govt is actually being governed or bound by a constitution.

It's govt by consent of the governed. The people of Tn seem largely OK with this.

Freedom of speech obviously. This essentially makes it impossible for many people to protest.

"In terms of reality, has there been someone injured at the Capitol?" Stewart asked Lamberth. "Has there been an actual event that has precipitated this multi-page bill imposing all these penalties?"

Lamberth did not reply with any instances, but noted that officers are assaulted around the state in other situations unrelated to protests.

If republicans weren't represented by these faggy bureaucratic pussy-bros who spend gov't funds like it's their gay fathers' oil money bankrolling the whole thing, maybe their party wouldn't be such a laughing stock and the butt of so many fucking fag jokes in the real world.
