The lesson is how superior gamesmen narrate the history of continents you will never have influence over in the sandbox of time. You chose to control tiny fictional worlds with a handful of customers. Others chose to control the real world of real customers with utter fictions.

Sure, but there is two kinds of control. Control over the corporation for community and righteous interests: the needy and weak; and self-serving interests by rich incorporated persons.
