I can't speak to my invisibility other than in my browser when I go back to a page on SaidIt and other sites, it's all reset as if I'd just arrived but from before. I'm not sure that's clear so I'll give an example: On /s/all I click on a post's comment to go to the OP and see the link and comments where I can read, vote, and comment, then I click on the post to read the article and after that I return and all my votes and comments are gone so I can't adjust them without refreshing. Also I never use private browser tabs so I don't know anything about them.

I go sleep now.

Words got us the wound and will fix it, if you believe it.

Something Jim Morrison said in an American Prayer.

Thanks. Context matters. Poetic. Now it makes sense. Sort of.

Saved.

I love Jim Morrison. His father, Admiral Morrison was in charge at the Gulf of Tonkin.

And then suddenly the son of the man who started the Vietnam war is a star?

And though I love Morrison and The Doors, that always seemed fishy to me.

Indeed and me too. His "death" seems fishy too.

I take it you've heard of Weird Scenes Inside the Canyon: Laurel Canyon, Covert Ops & the Dark Heart of the Hippie Dream?

I bought it, lent it, and should get it back to lend again.

All of Hollywood is connected, with rare exceptions for a very few exceptional controlled talents.

I never found his death suspect. I mean, the official cause of a heart attack is BS but it's widely assumed he ODed on heroin.

The problem with needles is that anything you put in, you can't get out again. The problem with street drugs is you never know their potency. The problem with shooting up is you don't want to take a small dose to test the potency on new shit because it fucks up your rush. All combined, especially with people who have quit and their tolerance is lower, make it easy to accidentally die.

I've lost a lot of people to drugs. We all know the risks going in though.

There's not much proof of his death. People found out days later, after he had already been buried in Paris, by "controlled" people, amid other suspicious circumstances. Why?

Yes, drugs are fun and problematic, intentionally. The solutions lie in the examples of Portugal and The Silk Road.

I think I'd be dead if I could buy heroin at the corner store. I used to believe in legalization but now I just don't know. I certainly believe in decriminalization, because although there are certainly some really shitty junkies out there, many of them are actually outstanding people. It shouldn't be a crime to be an addict because we can't change our nature any more than our skin color.

I've been taking Seroquel lately. I got really mad... I mean ballistic... Over Arby's refusing to give me marinara sauce with my jalapeno poppers. I know how ridiculous that is that Arby's wants to give me gross berry sauce instead of the far superior marinara pairing, and I am now boycotting them over it. Although, another part of me feels this is a ridiculous overreaction. I shouldn't have been in a rage for days over some shitty fast food. I have had a large number of head injuries. CTE concerns me.

Me and my bud had a protocol for this, if one of us ODed we'd drop em off at a pay phone (I been clean a long time lol, back when I used there were pay phones) and call 911. It's problematic to have cops come to an OD because people are high and they can all get in serious trouble for it.

It's funny you mention that, I was just watching something about Laurel Canyon.
