This is why all the people dreaming of a civil war will fail. The one attempt, the actual invasion of the capital building, was usurped by the opposition and now protestors can't scratch their arses. Now, as before, all anyone is doing is pointing out stories like this. it reminds me of little weaklings in the schoolyard telling on the bully to the teacher.

"See what he said! See see!"

"yes Timmy, now run along, I'll look into it...

That analogy only works if everyone wanted a hot civil war.

I promise you it's a small fraction of people who want that. No sane person with anything to lose wants that. Pointing out the hypocrisy over this is exactly the appropriate thing to do because we are NOT in a hot civil war. We're in an information war.

Well it will work if you can get the masses onboard. The mass media has proven that. Like talked about the other day, propaganda in films runs for a decade and more before the actual event and subsequent reaction by the masses plays out. I can remember when homosexuality was illegal here in Oz, a crime, and long before anyone was talking about making changes there appeared TV programs featuring homosexuals in a positive light. They could do no harm, they were peacemakers and interestingly in these shows, they were never persecuted, they were treated as normal. This in an age when we called them faggots and poofs and when their social life revolved around meeting at public toilets after dark.

It seems to me that the elite classes has a firm hold on the average mind, but that can change in an eyeblink though, especially if people are starving.
