China is going on a propaganda binge because their fake vaccine sucks. They cant even make ballpoint pens let alone vaccines.

And people think China is going to be the next world leader. Their society just doesn't lend itself to innovation. In 2018 only 5% of Chinese applicants filed foreign counterpart applications. By comparison, 80% of U.S. applicants filed foreign counterpart applications.. Only a small amount of their patents are worth filing overseas, China subsidizes them so there's a lot of junk patents only filed in the country.
