Did you read the article? It devolved into "The Tragedy of Darth Plagueis the Wise" from the Star Wars universe. Sort of like a "Rick Roll". I'm guessing the people who up-voted didn't read the article or came from alternate accounts.

Yes. I kept reading because I hadn't heard of any Schiff/Epstein connection and wanted to see some reliable sources. It took me a few seconds to realize what they did down in the belly of the article. At first, I thought I had misread something.
