Do you have the Google installed on your computer?

California's population continues to grow, albeit at a slower rate.

California’s population growth rate dropped to a historically low level for the third consecutive year in 2019 as the state’s cost of living continued to climb, according to preliminary population data released by the Department of Finance today.

California saw an increase of about 87,000 residents last year for a growth rate of about 0.2 percent, the slowest increase in population recorded since 1900.

DOF now estimates that California’s population sits at 39.78 million, and the state's march toward 40 million may be further behind than previously thought.

Saidit's best friend: Google

Moreover, 'exodus' is an immediate red flag in the headline. California is one of the most complex states, where one can see very different developments in some of the cities. It's also quite wealthy, and blue. So the dog whistle experts at the Washington Examiner love to use it as an example of failed government, even if the opposite is true.

They point to the high levels of homelessness, which are a problem, but are in part a problem because real estate prices are high because everyone wants to live there. Cost of living in the Bay Area has gotten so astronomical that even at $15/hour fast food places are struggling to find people willing to flip burgers.

I moved back to Ohio for a while because I already had a house here and my school went to online courses right as my lease in the Bay Area was up, but that was purely to save money, and you could bet your ass I'd have never left if I wasn't able to save so much money. Their traffic may suck, and there may be a ton of libtards there, but it's basically shorts & t-shirt weather 10 months out of the year, you're like 20 minutes from some gorgeous windy mountain roads and walking trails if you want to get away, there's great coastal driving if you go a little further, the cuisine is superior, weed is legal, the girls are way prettier, you've got one of the largest international airports that can take you direct to almost anywhere, etc. There's just no comparison.

It’s the most beautiful state with the best climate.

Exactly. It will suck for the rest of the states, but we've been overfull for decades. The sooner my town resembles a ghost town, the better. Unfortunately, it's probably the ept and rational people leaving. We certainly don't need a higher concentration of the insane.

I can't see California havin the lowest population ever with those (that made it) thousands that were paid to come here from central America.

Maybe some are leaving, but l.a. county so has more people than most states in the union.
