Wont wrk. Before 1864 several states had reserved the right to secede, but because they had chosen to fight with the confederacy after secedation, they were forcibly re-anexxed and no longer reserve that right. As far as I know, New Hampshire is the only one that still can.

Okay, so I disagree with the other 2 commenters because who cares what you agreed to previously when seceding. Just make like a treaty with Natives and don't honor it.

But I don't think we'd ever be allowed to secede either, Texas is a strategically important state and letting states leave would set a bad precedent.

The decision at Appomattox is not subject to appeal.
