232 Americans have died in mass Killings in the US so far this year.

One person is in custody after four people were killed, including two children, in shootings at two separate locations north of Anchorage on Monday, Alaska State Troopers said.

One person, 18-year-old Cody Roehl, was shot and killed, with the suspect leaving a home near Wasilla in a white Jeep Patriot.

Troopers in an online post say others in the home reported the shooting and details about the suspect.

Later, just before 4 a.m., police in nearby Palmer were alerted to a disturbance and shots fired at a home there. Responding officers found three people dead: Kimora Buster, 43; Ellison Buster, 7; and Sienna Buster, 10, all of Palmer.
