The white radical element began launching a social media campaign against the black leaders to push them out of power. White leftists essentially used cancel culture to smear black BLM leaders

Are you sure these "white leftists" actually consider themselves white?

They identify as Wakandans, and are therefore blacker than any whitey-mongrelized American blacks could ever be black!

They identify as Wakandans

Wakandans are probably eligible for dual citizenship.

I think it's funny that the article starts out by saying, "Here’s a story that will never be covered by any major media outlet," and then links to an article on the same subject by one of the largest publishers of Oregon specific news, Oregon Public Broadcasting.

https://www.opb.org/article/2020/11/23/portland-protest-racial-justice-oregon-black-lives-matter/

The OPB article seems less biased IMO. The redstate article reads like more of an opinion piece by the author, but both articles bring up some good points of discussion about the protest movements happening in portland.

It's a shame that the BLM and Antifa movements have been lumped together so hard by the media, it has really degraded the discussion of topics championed by either of these movements, and has created mass hysteria around ideas as common sense as civil rights for minority groups in the US, and also being anti fascism.

Antifa is not anti fascism, they are fascist. It's a tiny group of people who want to force their beliefs on society with violence and fear.

And BLM is not a civil rights group. There are no rights denied minorities for them to be fighting for. It is a political organization that exists to stoke racial fear and animosity for political purposes. They use racebaiting tactics to push voters to the democrat party.

Neither of those groups have been trying to bring those topics into public discourse. They were just using the emotional response associated with those topics to manipulate people.

Everyone is against fascism. The discussion is about what we should lump into the basket of fascism in order to throw it out. Antifa are waging a propaganda war to label everything that is not communist as fascist as a tactic to bring about communism, which has been renamed socialism. No one participating in that discussion can define fascism because the game is to keep redefining everything you don't like as fascist.

It's the same game with "civil rights" and "racism". We live in a country that literally has special privileges and programs only available to minorities and yet here you are still talking like the opposite is true. You are brainwashed. Anti racism is just code for anti white.

And we should be able to talk about civil rights for minority groups

What rights do minorities not have?

The very idea that you could have special language departments for every language on earth is absolutely insane. It is not the government's responsibility to provide that. It is their responsibility to learn english.

Never in history has translation services been considered a human right. This is yet another example of throwing bullshit into a basket it does not belong in to give it credibility.

It is not a civil right, and you are not fighting for civil rights by throwing everything you want into that basket.

Calling it "equal access rights" is propaganda. It insinuates that if it is not provided in your language of choice then you are being denied access. That is plainly bullshit.

I never mentioned the idea of a special department for each language.

Yes you did. You just don't understand what the propaganda you are repeating is demanding. If it is the government's responsibility to provide services in the native tounge of every citizen, and we have citizens from around the world, then that means the government has to have language facilities in every government building for every language on the world.

Spanish is NOT the only other language in the world.

The US absolutely should be clear that english is the official language, and I guarantee the only obstacle to that is leftists who block that simply because they want leverage to make these unreasonable, untenable, illogical demands.

Everyone has equal access. That YOU lack the intelligence, or reading comprehension, or education, does not mean that the government is at fault for your shortcomings.

The entire idea that the government has to make up for everyone's differences or else it's not fair is an impossible to fulfill demand. It is completely unreasonable.

The school district i grew up in provided a translator for students that didn't know English yet.

That is a special privilege that you received, not something you were owed. Did the school also do that for the Chinese kids, and the polish kids and the Indian kids and the Korean kids, and the eskimo kids? Why are you better than them?

As I understand it they have all the same rights as every other American. On top of that they have reservations on which they have more rights than other Americans. Broken thirties are not civil rights violations, they are broken treaties.

The reservations they have are ghettos. They have free reign to build anything they want and there are no factories or farms or universities. All they build are casinos. Easy money which the elders keep for themselves and squander. More land would not make any difference to Native peoples.

That doesn't justify breaking treaties. But any claim that the broken treaties are responsible for the poverty of Native Americans is just leftist bullshit. At the end of the day Natives leave the reservation to go find work. If the reservations were any bigger they would have to travel further.

No one is fighting for civil rights. They are fighting for more welfare, more affirmative action, more anti white propaganda. Anyone who believes the propaganda is brainwashed.

They aren't denied land ownership. They can buy land just like everyone else. You are making bullshit claims.

Perhaps you misspoke - no one has a right to land in America. The Declaration of Independence says that we are endowed by our Creator with the unalienable rights to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. It, however, is not a legally binding document on the American government. What is a legally binding document on the American government is the Constitution. That document's fifth and fourteenth amendments says that we have rights to life, liberty, and property that cannot be denied us without due process. Those amendments prohibit both state and federal governments from depriving a person in the United States of life, liberty, or property without following their own laws (procedural due process), and prevent state and federal governments from violating fundamental human rights as recognized by the Supreme Court even if they pass a law allowing them to do so (substantive due process).

But nothing in the Constitution says anything about a civil right to land.

Nobody has heard of Oregon Public Broadcasting before. It's not a major media outlet. Nice try to discredit the source rather than engage in the substance of the argument though. I see what you did there.

Neither of which are major media outlets. Do you understand the argument being made here? Just because you deplorables are familiar with some local news source doesn't mean it's major media that anyone pays attention to.

Major media outlets are CNN, MSNBC, New York Times, etc. None of which would touch this story, for obvious reasons. Seriously, OPB is major media? How often do you leave Oregon? You realize we have cities larger than your whole state? Hicks.

There are a mere 4 million in Oregon, almost all white, you reprehensible redneck. New York, LA, Chicagoland, Houston and Dallas metroplexes, we've got it and you don't. We've also got diversity, which you don't have. Life in the rural areas between the cities where you are is a prole horror peopled by obese, Bible-thumping dolts who couldn’t navigate a Thai menu and polish gun lockers instead of reading.

You attacked the source instead of engaging with the argument.

It's standard with you hard left types. You don't believe in argument or Enlightenment values in general. It's all about my tribe is right, your tribe is wrong. What, is anyone going to use arguments or facts to get you to change your opinion? Lol no. Critical Theory doesn't work like that.

You pulled a switcheroo and attempted to claim some obscure source was a major media outlet. You were either lying or fooling yourself and not realizing it.

You said that some obscure broadcaster was a major media outlet. That's untrue. Either you knew it, and lied, or were unaware of it, which means you're a deplorable hick who can't see outside her own narrow rural life.

Relative to redstate, OPB could be considered a large media outlet.

NO. OK now you are deliberately lying. OPB (I love how you use the abbreviation so glibly, as if everyone has heard of it) is not a major media outlet. It is not, and will never be, and you knew that going in.

You have somehow derived from this conversation that i am a redneck marxist woman if I am reading our convo correctly?

I'm just wondering if you know that the big cities look down on you and your kind. All white, no diversity, not urban, uneducated morons. You sound like the kind of person who'd kneel on the throat of a handcuffed and prone individual.
