Objective seems to be to cause chaos. Those who oppose the riots and the left don't need to discredit the left, they simply need to show what the left is doing. This looks more like an attempt to discredit the right.

The article links a local Minnesota news source:

So apparently we're expected to believe that right wing extremists have completely reversed over a century'e worth of political support for the police, and now are working with Antifa and BLM?

This crazy story is unbelievable in the literal sense.

Ivan Harrison Hunter, a 26-year-old from Boerne, Texas, is charged with one count of interstate travel to incite a riot for his alleged role in ramping up violence during the protests in Minneapolis on May 27 and 28. According to charges, Hunter, wearing a skull mask and tactical gear, shot 13 rounds at the south Minneapolis police headquarters while people were inside. He also looted and helped set the building ablaze, according to the complaint, which was filed Monday under seal.

Unrest flared throughout Minneapolis following Floyd’s death, which was captured on a bystander’s cellphone video, causing Gov. Tim Walz to activate the Minnesota National Guard. As police clashed with protesters, Hunter and other members of the Boogaloo Bois discussed in private Facebook messages their plans to travel to Minneapolis and rally at the Cub Foods near the Third Precinct building, according to federal court documents.

They're suggesting that right wing activists were enraged about the killing of Floyd, and supposedly used Facebook to conspire on the police?

So, Antifa is now allied with alleged "right wingers"?

Are we also expected to believe these same right wingers support Biden, and oppose Trump?

One of the people Hunter coordinated with posted publicly to social media: “Lock and load boys. Boog flags are in the air, and the national network is going off,” the complaint states.

Two hours after the police precinct was set on fire, Hunter texted with another Boogaloo member in California, a man named Steven Carrillo.

“Go for police buildings,” Hunter told Carrillo, according to charging documents.

“I did better lol,” Carrillo replied. A few hours earlier, Carrillo had killed a Federal Protective Services officer in Oakland, Calif., according to criminal charges filed against him in California.

"Go for the police buildings" is one-upped with a murdered police officer?
“I did better lol,”???

Are these supposed to be old war buddies, who are keeping count like in the movies?
This is ridiculous.

On June 1, Hunter asked Carrillo for money, explaining he needed to “be in the woods for a bit,” and Carrillo sent him $200 via a cash app.

A conveniently tracable cash app was also used by these war buddies?

This is an absurd story.

No doubt they'll claim that they've found his passport at the scene of the crime. 5 months later.

I bet you did Nazi see that coming.

A far-right extremist opened fire on Minneapolis' third police precinct and sparked violence during May's George Floyd protests, the FBI said in a sworn affidavit released Friday. Ivan Harrison Hunter, a 26-year-old from Texas and admitted member of the "Boogaloo Bois," was charged Friday with one count of interstate travel to participate in a riot. Hunter fired 13 rounds at the precinct while officers were inside and ran away shouting "Justice for Floyd," the FBI alleges. Hunter later allegedly looted the police station and helped set it on fire, and bragged about it to other members of the far-right group. He allegedly texted about the incident with Steven Carrillo, another Boogaloo member who later shot and killed a sheriff's deputy in California.
