So the first parent who complained about it didn't even have a kid in his class, his daughter heard about it second hand and they still felt offended.
They then set up a social media campaign against the teacher which got big enough one of the Iman councils in France put a fatwa in his head.
While this might seem like a sudden, out off the blue event to some shallow people here is actually something which has been building up in a big way for quite some time. Maybe you just aren't that smart, start coming to terms with it.

yeah I'm mixed but raised french and so were both my parents (grandparents were immigrated non-practicing muslims) and I'm seriously sick of this shit happening.
