What are you, in your 20s? It's easy to say when you're young. Wait till you're 40 and looking at only living another 20 years, you'll sing a different tune.

I know it's hard meeting someone who doesn't despair over death. You must think that I am inexperienced, or plain foolish. I don't rightly care. I've faced death many times, and I willingly walked into situations where death might meet me faster. My tune WILL change, but only because I will continue learning how to accurately express these truths. Edit: for every despairing elder you speak of, I would speak of one who does not fear death, and who welcomes it like a friend. You are obviously older than me and worried about it. I would get that dealt with, you have plenty of time finding courage : )
