When I become a James Bond super-villain, I am not going to waste my time forcing the world to wear masks.

If you don't see how a pandemic could be used by the establishment to further enact control over our lives, both social and financial, then you are being totally obstinate and stubborn for no reason. If you don't see how it could further their goals, then you are the perfect citizen for their new world.

Thank goodness some people have the simple pure reason needed to see The Truth.

It takes more than reason to experience truth.

So you just open your mind and listen to The Voices in your head?

[–][deleted] 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (3 children)

The reason that you speak of consists of voices in your head, otherwise known as ... your thoughts. I would not listen to those if I were seeking to understand reality. You seem to be trying to make low blows against me based off of this comment. Do you not experience thoughts as being voices in your head? Do you not use your thoughts to formulate ideas and such? "Sane" people attribute those voices to themselves. "Insane" people attribute them to other beings.

Tell me, do you utilize all your tools, or do you only utilize one? Can a hammer build a house all on its own? Can a saw?

If you only use reason to understand truth, then you are like a builder who only uses a hammer to build a house.

Well, and to be serious for a moment, remember the court-appointed psychiatrist is not your friend. Further, if need to convince him you are nuts, tell him the voices are from outside your head. As you said, normal people use the idea of "voices"to describe thoughts.

Tell him you hear a whisper into your ear. That ought to work.

Now go upvote something on s/lists I bet you will find something you like.

I don't know what s/lists even is.

You basically refuse to respond to my comments without making some sort of joke the whole way through. I may make jokes at your expense, but I'm actually trying to have a dialogue here.

Why would I trust a psychiatrist? They believe some of the craziest horseshit. Furthermore, why would I want one of them to think I'm crazy? That's a one-way ticket to having my rights removed completely without a trial or jury of my peers. That's how you get drugged in a hospital.

Every person alive hears voices in their head. They just identify with them, and that makes them "sane". You use thoughts to formulate ideas and concepts; you use thoughts to utilize your logic and reason.

There are more tools at your disposal than just your thoughts or your logic. You should figure out what they are because your life would be enriched by them.
