You are old and bitter because your eggs are stale and no one wants you. Your bitterness has rotted your soul to the point that human life can be discarded with a cynical scoff of "that's not real human life, I only recognize life when it's convenient". After all, why should you care about them if no one cares about you?

Honestly, they're starting to teach those in elementary school at this point.. which is not necessary, but I digress. They're probably more focused on teaching bullshit in those classes anyway. There's a swath of women even that don't know what's going on or the extremely detailed process of what goes through with even a menstrual cycle, much less the gestation of a human being.
