    Yup, pretty much. In my job, they keep asking me to go back to school and get certified. I'm like, "NAH!" Look at the cost of tuition, and then I look at my situation and where I'd end up if I were certified. It's just stupid. I'd rather drive a truck or something.

    When you're a kid, you don't really think about the cost of university much. You just don't know. As an adult, it's a seriously stupid gamble.

    perfect time to institute state controlled uni. back in the 70-s to 90-s, college was pushed and thought of a shoe in for a great career. now with the high tuition, forget it. in the late 80's, in commifornia, it was $6 a credit with a ~$50 cap. books weren't obviously over priced as they are now, but that changed in the mid 90's. wasn't awake enough to know what to look for.
