It's a good article. He's not arguing that institutional racial bias isn't a problem; just saying that it's not rooted in hatred by individuals against other individuals. This is a good summation:

"Understanding that systemic racism may not be due to widespread individual racism is very important if we want to overcome it... Trying to cure supposedly widespread individual racism that does not in fact exist can simply make matters worse, not better. Blaming people for things they are not doing just makes them angry."

South African Apartheid was systematic racism. Black folks were not allowed to work at any white factory or fix the products produced thereof.

I don’t think a country that has black Supreme Court judges, mayors, police chiefs and even the president is very good at being systematically racist.

Apartheid was self-defense. The bantu were violent invaders, they had lost the war against the Boers but the Boers were too nice to kick them out. If they had just grown a pair and done what had to be done, white South Africans wouldn't be facing genocide right now.

From Wikipedia: In the 1920s, relatively liberal South Africans, missionaries, and the small black intelligentsia began to use the term "Bantu" in preference to "Native".

So, violent? Perhaps so. Invaders? I'm going to press X to doubt on that one.

Because you're a racist lmfao. Do you think all Africans are the same or something? The Bantu have swept through Africa replacing and subjugating all of the natives in their respective homelands. They have no business being in South Africa. The endemic natives, the Khoi San, are only 2% of the population due to Bantu pressure.

Why are non Whites automatically entitled White spaces?

Because the Boers are indigenous to South Africa?

Systemic racism does exist. This is stupid to argue otherwise.

We have clear hierarchy in the West and there is no equality of outcome. There can only be two reasons for this:

1) Not all populations are created equal

2) The system's architecture is flawed

Why do most immigrant groups do better than the settled population?

Why do girls do better at school than boys?

Even though the hierarchy works against both groups.

Because personal choice matters too, as well as all the nature/environment stuff.

There's not just two possible reasons. Life is complicated.

"Personal choice" is punting the football. It's fucking stupid. Your "choice" is a product of your brain architecture and your settings. If a select population is "choosing" to succeed more than another, than something is amiss either with the inputs the population receives or it's overall brain structure.

Your answer is #1. That's perfectly fair, there is no reason to suggest that nature lacks hierarchy. Feedback loops are the engine of evolution. To be more direct, I see no reason to suspect women aren't superior to men at current academic structure.

Only fools deny systematic racism.

First of all, you mean SYSTEMIC, not systematic. Learn your own propaganda. Second of all, the idea is literally unfalsifiable.

Systemic racism is real in the sense that it has been introduced and used by the establishment to divide and subjugate the masses. Racism is just another artificial wedge used by those in power to keep the 'have-nots' fighting one another.
