Uhh this is ridiculous. I don't care what you think about BLM, no citizen should be expected to pay for police overtime for organizing a 30-person protests, or any protest for that matter. The police overtime was probably not necessary, and the organizer had nothing to do with that decision calling for overtime.

Even if the protest did by some chance turn into a riot, just because one person organized the original protest in no way means that the same person was involved with the riot or should be expected to pay for the damage or overtime.
