However despite opposition it will now be compulsory for schools to teach about sexual orientation and gender identities in schools from September 2020.

Kids will learn about consent, relationships, contraceptives, porn, LGBT+ rights and the internet and all schools including faith schools will have to comply.

Relationship Education will also be mandatory in primary schools, with the optional but encouraged element of featuring different family dynamics, including LGBTQ+ parents.
