Already went over this: The proposal is to investigate re-adding trace elements of metals due to their apparent benefits and our diets generally lacking some of them. These are not clinical doses. These are not side-effect inducing doses. In fact, these aren't "doses" inasmuch as often naturally occurring remnants we end up filtering out. These are amounts so entirely small it's still up in the air whether the correlation is in fact due to trace lithium at all, and only detectable in large populations not individuals, and only then just significant.

Also, these are experts. Not with quotes. People who clearly know a lot more about this than OP, for one, who seems to think this is some grand conspiracy to dose the population. To preempt the exact same nonsense from before, if anyone is going to claim "lithium bad", the "bad" is in the dosage. Too much of anything is bad. Trace amounts in this instant are so small as to be harmless by far.

Put another way, none of you cry conspiracy or claim people are "experts" with scare quotes when filtration removed all the naturally occurring things humans have been drinking for long before we were humans. Yet in any proposal to readd elements or other things formerly in that water, you freak out. This is entirely about short sighted contrarianism and nothing more.

The problem is with their reason as to WHY they are doing it. I have a right to feeling suicidal. Especially with how negative the effects of the quarantine and politicians are on my life. This is them attempting to make everybody okay with horrible, arguably immoral actions of government. This is why it is wrong. Can you please look at that? You are purposely COMPLETELY ignoring the implications.

If you want to take lithium to control your moods you are more than capable of visiting a doctor to discuss your mental health issues. I don't care if it's a trace amount or a clinical dose, it is wrong for them to attempt to control how people feel so they can become complacent with things that are wrong to do to an entire population to begin with.

So, instead of addressing the multitude of problems plaguing society that are provoking suicidal thoughts and causing suicides, we are going to adulterate the water supply with lithium? Poisoning the well, huh...?
