As a tall person, I'm pleased to hear I might not end up with my knees stuck in the back of the seat in front of me in the future

Not necessarily, a big part of why airlines were unaffordable back in the day was because the government regulated a price floor, so to attract customers, airlines just made seats bigger since they could not get cheaper to make it affordable to more people until deregulation happened.

Mandating a minimum seat size, depending on the size, may see a return of unaffordable airline tickets as airlines are forced to scale back economy sized seats most could afford.

This all depends on how the law is written though.

Not really, you are still free to buy a business class or first class ticket if you want to.

All expanding seat sizes would do is make business and first class the only choices available.

    I rarely fly anymore because theres not enough legroom. Flying sucks for tall people.

    Thank God Trump did this. He's a fucking hero. I mean there's so much more good he could be doing for the world but here he's regulating bullshit that doesn't need regulating. Fuck the free market. He'll get my vote for sure. /s
