I do not know a community as entitled as the American black community, with the exception of transgender people and feminists perhaps. We live in a time of narcissism and entitlement. We live so well, on average, that we have become calloused to the struggles of others. So many of those movements that proclaim a good cause are just weaponized victimhood while we ignore actual hardships of those whom we cannot fit into a marketable narrative, such as the farmers in South Africa being murdered.
