On 2A, the problem with having streets awash in guns is that fearful idiots end up using them.

On Garrett, when someone uses a car to plow through a crowd, we call it assault with a deadly weapon. Chicken shit tactic the far right shares with Al Qaeda. But for the driver's actions that night, Garrett would still be alive.

    He ran the red light through the crowd, the barriers and the cruisers with flashing lights using his car like a deadly weapon. Then freaked out and opened fire within seconds. Indefensible idiocy.

    If cops had been in his way, he'd be dead for assaulting officers.
