Good. Fuck them and fuck forcing employees to forgo plans with family for a shit job at shit wages. And doubly fuck people for shopping and encouraging it.

Naw just fuck the people who shop and encourage it because if it was a ghost town and no one came in the companies wouldn't waste their money to keep the lights on and pay the employees.

They know if they open the doors people will come. That's the only reason they do it. If there's money they'll have it.

They're only doing this because of covid. There's going to be no retail black friday this year, since people won't go out.

Seems to be a good idea.

As BusinessInsider reports, Walmart made the announcement Tuesday that it was ending its tradition of giving eager shoppers a head start on the Black Friday shopping and will not open any Walmarts or Sam’s Clubs this Thanksgiving Day.

"We know this has been a trying year, and our associates have stepped up. We hope they will enjoy a special Thanksgiving Day at home with their loved ones," John Furner, president and CEO of Walmart US, said in a statement quoted by BusinessInsider. "We are certainly thankful to our people for all of their efforts."

Marketing translation:

"We know there won't be much money to be had so we're not opening for a head start, however, in order to increase black friday shopping we will claim it was solely done for our employees as people will then want to show up and shop to support our business hopefully mitigating the blow that would have been done to our profits had we not put out a statement at all or claimed covid as the reason."

Yes, way to go!! Happy for all the walmart workers. They can actually have a Thanksgiving holiday with their families now.

There will most likely also be a shortage of the cheap Chinese crap that is sold each year to draw you in. That being said, don't ever bother participating in black Friday. Give you family gifts, not whatever items are displayed at low prices in the middle of a Walmart isle one day a year.

I have noticed a lot of made in china stuff on ebay and amazon has had the selection cut down. also harbor freight stopped giving free flash lights and tarps!

Being one of the approved COVID retailers, my guess is they already made their money and are way ahead.

Probably because they already know there is a 100% certainty of scamdemic lockdown at that time.

At least Black Friday is gone, you can order stuff you want online without trouble anyways.
