Ban? How would they do that? They aren't about to censor the internet, are they?

Indian authorities already blocked TikTok and another 58 popular Chinese applications in the App Store and Google Play.

Ah. So they are compelling the companies to block it. So maybe TikTok may still be available on alternative app stores and on the web, assuming it isn't one of those annoying apps that doesn't have a web interface?

Who do I contact to oppose this ban? I think it should be up to individuals to choose who they associate with, not the state.
