We have already lost this fight. Just like we lost Crimea. Just like we are losing Ukraine.

Why do you say these things? Can you elaborate?

Certainly. The United States has not formally recognized the Chinese conquest of the South China Sea, but can no longer reverse it. On 2018, PACCOM commander-in-chief designate Phil Davidson said only war could dislodge the Chinese.

In the same way, the Russians have used force to redraw boundaries in Europe for the first time since 1945. The US imposed sanctions, but then elected a Russian lapdog. Remarkable how well Putin played a weak hand. The Russians are still attacking NATO nations with political initiatives and cyber. The Americans have paralyzed the Alliance.

It is all good fun at the moment of course. But in time, with a better President, these accumulated insults and conquests could well lead to war.

This is informative. Thank you!

My pleasure. President Trump has kept us out of war. Of course he has managed that by letting dictators run amok. In time they will cross a line and there will be hell to pay.
