I live in Canada. I have a lot of truck driving friends. Almost all of them refuse to drive states side because of the crime in the cities. Many companies offer danger pay, but it's just not worth it.

The far left really is indistinguishable from the far right. Getting rid of police essentially creates free market anarcho capitalism. Private police forces will protect the rich and powerful. There will be no one to enforce regulations. No one to enforce tax collection and therefore no welfare money to distribute. The welfare class will truly find out what it means to be a "wage slave".

How many cities are really going to defund their police? I don’t think Minneapolis even has the guts to do it.

I rolled through Silver Lake junction yesterday and saw a bunch of white people jumping up and down with signs that said “Defund Police.” Some campaigns you just know aren’t going anywhere by how they’re being run and who’s running them.

When your campaign consists largely of 8x10 signs printed in Helvetica font and scotch taped to telephone poles, you’re kinda DOA.

But I appreciate the truckers voicing what are otherwise legitimate concerns.

i think some of those states don't recocgnize carry permits from other states either... but I guess if there aren't any cops who cares about a permit

Firearms not legal for truckers. Was long haul traineer for 16 years. What we did often carry (legal) was 'Instant Knock-Down' wasp spray. Heard a few good stories from NYC drivers who actually resorted to this stuff. Knocks down more than bugs. Never stick around if you use this. Police may not endorse the improper pest removal.

Contrary to what many drivers believe, there is no federal law that prohibits truck drivers from carrying guns in their trucks as long as they adhere to local and state laws

It's like a mass delusion that may have been designed and scheduled to make people commit suicide. The same protestors will suffer the most in their own cities, especially the people they claim to be trying to help. Clown World level over 9000.
