It looks to me like the type of fact-twisting by MSM (mainstream media) because if you look up the patent, it does not agree with the headline you posted. A simple search was enough to show that your headline is not accurate. I do think BG is part of a club that we will never join, and that his plans are not for MY good but for the good of his club.
