Have you ever met these people? I don't mean visit during Jazz Week. I mean get out into the city, far from the Quarter, and see, eat with, and smell them.

The Superdome wasn't a disaster because an evacuation center was a bad idea. It was a disaster because the people of New Orleans made it a disaster.

Afterwards, many ended up evacuated to Houston, where they were welcomed with open arms. People invited them into their houses. They met with a hostile reaction that the accommodations weren't good enough. On the first day of school, fights erupted as the New Orleanians decided they didn't like their new schools.

Aren't you on the far left? Hating ordinary Americans should be second nature for you. You know, the spoiled working class who refuse to work and we're replacing them with immigrants?

Have you priced condos in Harlem lately? Some cities are having a hard time. Most of them are not. So what is it you dislike about cities?
