Ron Paul Liberty Report

Ron Paul:

It is rather strange and in one sense people can die and in another, compared to what?

Is it as bad as some say, or is it a lot less severe?

My sense is: way over reaction and the reaction is going to be worst than the infection.

Daniel McAdams: (3.4% vs 1% or is it 10%)

Where does this panic come from?

Head of WHO, Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus an Etheopon Politician and Buerocrat, not a medical doctor

Speech from March 3rd 2020

Ghebreyesus said. "While many people globally have built up immunity to seasonal flu strains, COVID-19 is a new coronavirus to which no one has immunity. Globally, about 3.4% of reported COVID-19 cases have died. By comparison, seasonal flu generally kills far fewer than 1% of those infected."

But this is the trick, it's apples and oranges: he used the confirmed corona virus cases vs confirmed deaths to predict future mortality rate, but that's not how we do it, that's not how the CDC does it. You should make an estimate based on the data that's available that's confirmed cases, and estimets based on what's not available and hasn't been confirmed yet. How do we know there's so many of these? Because there has been no testing in the US. There are so many people who are asymptomatic potentially or mild moderate cases who don't go to the doctor and get confirmed that they are cornavirus people. So you have this huge disproportional amount of deaths. (deaths compared to confirmed cases and estimates of unconfirmed)

If we use that same methodology for the seasonal flu, the deaths would not be the 1% they announced, it would be 10% - and this is the CDC's own numbers: 222,000 confirmed flu cases, 22,000 estimated deaths. That would be a 10% death rate.

But what the CDC does is they estimate the actual mortality rate based on an estimate 36 million flu cases.

Ghebreyesus didn't use any additional pool (or estimate of additional corona virus cases), he just used the confirmed cases vs the confirmed deaths and essentially cooked the book and caused everyone to have a massive freak out and that is where we are right now.
