The question is, why do these folks think they'll get in? Who is convincing them to make this long trek? Are, in fact some actually getting in, re-enforcing their commitment to try?

many do get in, have been for decades, the word got out long ago. Now this caravan is supported by soros. It's a few hundred people, a drop in the bucket compared to the millions of mexicans already here illegaly. I think the caravan is designed to make us ignore the worse problem, how we have to round up millions and send them back, major problem, where to drop them exactly, right on other side of the border? Logistical nightmare, will get compared to nazis of course.

Nope. Easy.

We could get rid of illegals in a month - if we wanted to. Problem is, nobody wants to. Hispanics don't want their brothers to leave. Consumers don't want higher prices for food and services. Investors don't want increased labor costs.

BUT, there is a solution:

Enforce E-Verify and eliminate birthright citizenship (or make it restricted jus soli). Do those two things and we wouldn't even need a wall - the illegals would deport themselves.

OK now what? What about the cheap labor?

Use prison labor (perfectly legal under the 13th Amendment) and vagrants to do the work the illegals are doing now.

How? There is only ONE solution: Offer the vagrants three choices: Stop being homeless OR accept room and board in return for sobriety and WORK (via job shops) OR get arrested and be put to work. The couple of percent who truly are too ill to work, we will take care of (after we've concluded they have no assets or income). The job shops partition out work the illegals are doing now: picking crops, processing chicken, sorting recyclables, cleaning buses, repairing hiking trails, picking up trash, etc. The employers pay back the government to offset the cost of the room and board or incarceration. There are no other solutions. Get tough or accept vagrancy.This is bullet proof. Win Win Win Win Win. If you have a better solution, provide it.

correct technically it is easy. Why doesn't it happen. I guess trump is worried people will reeeee. We get people coming illegal and put them in "cages" yeah no shit a criminal goes in a cage aka jail. But why put them in a jail, where we have to feed them, just drop em back off over the border.

deport themselves? I doubt it just because these other countries suck compared to the land of golden opportunity USA is, it really is so great that so many want to come here and suck off of what white men have made.

I don't want to put them to work I want em gone. Picking crops? Yeahhh "white people won't do it so we need illegals" Well white men will do it if it pays more so get rid of that huge illegal untaxed work force and wages will increase naturally.

My way has them gone and prisoners and vagrants do the cheap labor. Trump might not get rid of them because corporate america likes cheap labor so he publicizes a wall to get his base up without any intention of really getting rid of them. ICE and the miliary could force them out but that would be expensive. Simply make it a HUGE penalty to hire them - similar to how we prevent underage drinking. If an employer is threatened with prison, he'll think twice about hiring illegals - especially if the government provides prison labor and vagrants to replace them.

prisoners, cheap labor ok well remember it isn't really so cheap because our taxes pay for prisons and it is actually really expensive to feed them and house them and pay the guards and the electric bill etc. Better to have less criminals and close down some priusons. Also need to legalize weed for same reason. Now what is an illegals crime, coming here illegally, send em back then. Corporate america likes it good point well we need to stop sucking them off. Trump lied to get elected, lesson learned. A wall will be great, waitin on that one. ICE and military force them out, ok that is what we are talking about. Expensive yes but a one time expense and well it'd go down with a wall too. Like I said, tough logistics, need to go door to door across the entire USA rounding em up and bussing them to the border, very expensive, a lot of overtime for ICE. As a taxpayer I'd be ok with it.

These types of solutions seem radical to normies now, but wait 10 or 15 years and ask them again.
