Culture, much like your genetics have to go through forms of adaptation and gain resiliency, when you are isolated and fucking your own sister all the time which may be what racists really enjoy; does not prove well for your kind. The greatest form of adaptation would be occurring, I would say right now-as different people both compete and cooperate to survive. It is the system that does not help with that but just because you don't see your own kind everyday and things are hard because you're facing the twilight of existence- doesn't mean you get to cop out and "stick into your own kind" all the time.
