We value animals more than people because they cannot tell us we are wrong.

They cannot challenge our beliefs or question our actions.

In a sense, they are moving objects we can talk at, without ever fearing a response. A living creature we have power over, that we can kill without remorse or punishment, meanwhile joyfully confusing stupidity with purity. As if the brain dead goat in the woods would give a damn if you didn't show up one day.

Internet has done much to benefit our society. Sadly, the communication no longer requires meeting face to face. This isn't bad because of the lack of physical presence, but because it removes the requirement to explore. To leave our homes for the dangerous world outside in hopes of talking to friends. Now we buy our friends from a pet store and push a button to hide inside.

My hope is that VR will fix this problem. Once it gets advanced enough we will be able to explore the world again with our friends. Even more so than ever before.

Or the pets will become digital and nothing of value will be gained.

Americans are so batshit insane today that Americans scream illegal immigrants should get welfare.
