No. Just no. We reserve the right to freedom from religion, while allowing religious people to be religious within their own context and communities.

I'm starting to feel the same way about public schools.

Having learned that they're weren't created to educate.

They were created to brainwash children, and create confirming employees for the industrial era. American literacy rates declined after public schools were forced on the public.

American WW1 enlistment literacy rates were 98%.
By the time of "The Korean War" the functional literacy rate had dropped to ~70%; where they have remained ever since.

We've been brainwashed into assuming they're a necessary part of society.

We've all been schooled. :-(
