Uncertain... it seems to be useful only to someone

A) Advancing their social agenda/actually think they are doing good,

B) Same as A, but mentally ill,

C) "fun" for someone "trolling" people, or

D) a kind of... sabotage. Imagine is Yaniv was actually being a "Byronic Hero", trying to act as the villain/sacrifice oneself, to achieve protection from the thing they are "acting" like.
