The Sauds should be defending their end of the oil bargain, but at least the Gulf War had a broad coalition and a specific congressionally authorized AUMF. It's less shady than everything since, especially Libya and Syria and now Iran.
Why did the US let Iraq become Shia controlled? Are we getting any oil out of Iraq?
