Jeremy Clarkson has been branded ‘disrespectful’ for comments he made about the Australian bushfires.

The fires intensified this weekend as the temperatures around the country rose once again.

To date, 23 have died and over 1,300 homes and 12.35 million acres of land have been destroyed.

Writing in his column in The Sun, Jeremy Clarkson claimed that the Australian bushfires are occurring because ‘God didn’t want people to live in Australia.’

‘He created it as a continent far, far away where he could house all his experiments that had gone wrong,’ he wrote.

Clarkson! this man has been pulling our leg, longer then most. Soon I will forget all about it. he has busted on everybody 😂💀 it's kinda his job. Often correct in his mind. To be sure. Plus I have seen him beat a McLaren's ass off. He is an entertainer. A true thinker. We are on about Jeremy? Oh please. James now there is the one to be nervous about.
