CO2 is not the problem but the amount compared to oxygen and other gases in the atmophere. What is more of concern is the fact that oil companies claim that they will use facilities to cut down on CO2, when the REAL problem stems from deforestaion. No trees, no oxygen, and a miniscule acidification of the ocean that should occur over a thousand years but is thusly occuring over less than 100.
