Now that the US is a police state, every American should expect to be arrested at some point.

There are so many laws that it’s certain many people have broken one or two without knowing it.

Authorities take it upon themselves to decide who does and doesn’t get prosecuted. They look at laws as “tools” for them to do their jobs, which is to propagate the criminal industrial complex from asset forfeitures to tax forfeitures that aren’t properly enforced, and of course feeding the prison system where inmates are paid slave wages for real work that enrich companies like Amazon.

A sizable minority of people who are investigated by the FBI are only ever convicted of lying to investigators.

Never lie to authorities. They are allowed to and will lie to you. Assume they are lying.

An easy way to never lie to authorities is never to speak to them. Here’s a good article about it:

Remember, your Miranda rights say, “You have the right to remain silent. Anything you say CAN AND WILL be used against you.” Anything you say can and will be spun.

I once had a police report filed against me so I lawyered up. My favorite line from the whole fiasco was when my attorney said, “The police will likely want to speak with you. We’ll decline.”
