I searched "Facebook atlantic council" on duckduckgo; while fortune.com did come up none of the big, major news networks did. Seems like this is a big deal, especially after all the Cambridge Analytica news. Wonder why this is so quiet? Maybe...

"The Atlantic Council receives funding from the Brookings Institution, Carnegie Endowment, Cato Institute, Council on Foreign Relations, and the Rand Corporation, to name a few. In addition, various members of the Military-Industrial Complex are benefactors of the Atlantic Council, including Huntington Ingalls, the United States’ sole maker of aircraft carriers; Airbus, the plane manufacturer; Lockheed Martin, the shipbuilder and aviation company; and Raytheon, which makes missile systems. All of the companies have contracts with the U.S. Department of Defense and offer financial support to the Atlantic Council."

You know that's a great point and I have no idea how this can break without criticism. Somehow they've separated good data sharing from bad data sharing despite it probably being the same exact data that's shared. CA are the bad guys but Atlantic Council will fix everything if we share data with them.
