Dude, you are citing Russia Today, a well-known disinformation site. Are you even trying to fight? In any case, nothing about this local story on the front page of the usual Colorado news sources. If this is true, it is a minor thing.

If this is true, it is a minor thing.

Oh, it's a real thing.

And it's not, minor:

A Colorado school district has closed all 46 of its schools following the spread of an “extremely contagious virus.”

That was the first thing I checked that before I posted the video.

Russia Today, a well-known disinformation site.

Are you even trying to fight?

That's a matter of perspective. If you're a lefty SJW: no, I'm not on your side. If you're a Trump-worshipper: no, I'm not on your side.

It's not hard to figure out who RussiaToday works for (Russian Mafia/oligarchs who were funded by US money and took over after the fall of communism) and what their reporting is intended to do (sow chaos in America by furthering the division between left and right - which is why it appears as some kind of alt-right oriented hot-spot, complete with Conservative members of the CNP appearing on the channel regularly. ie: Duginism)

That doesn't mean a report regarding school closures is a lie or part of some sinister agenda - especially given that it's true.

Just because it is on RT does not mean it is a lie. I did not say it was not true.

What I do say is that RT is part of the attack on the United States and the West in general. I am glad we agree on that. I would further say it is better to ignore them. I am sorry we disagree on that part of it.

Spreading RT's influence simply helps them in their attacks on us.

Yes, turn a blind eye to the enemy and their communications, that's how "wars" are won.

Spreading RT's influence simply helps them in their attacks on us.

Only if one is t

Well I gave you a Times article about it too, so feel free to use that one - or google a publication of your preference... what, I just shouldn't cite/post anything "of the enemy"? Because that's literally 99% of... everything - including legitimate news that affects people here. You could have just as easily searched to see if it was true, yourself - I know you said you did, but if you had, you would have found the articles.

I'm just warning Saiditors who may live in the area, as I am wont to do when strange localized stories pop up - sorry you got upset about the source.

I am not upset by the source. I am upset that you are doing your bit to make them seem like a legitimate news site.

When they report a legitimate news story...

There are a number of sources you can give your eyeballs to. That is how they make their money. You decided to support Russia Today. Whatever. Knock yourself out. Still, others are allowed to comment on who you support.

And if you want to have a heart attack clutching pearls over a source, rather than the story - then that's your prerogative.

Yep. We all decide on our own morality. But now it is naptime.
